Terms of use

⚠️ An engineering draft awaiting legal review, and not published. It was written to describe what the system actually does and to be a starting point for a lawyer — not to be signed. Do not rely on it in a contract.
1 · The service
TASHYIDNA is browser-based software for managing construction projects: bill of quantities, procurement, inventory, daily reports, payment certificates, finance, quality and safety, scheduling, and reporting.
2 · The account
- The account belongs to the contracting company, which is responsible for who it grants access to and in what role.
- A password is its holder's responsibility. Two-factor authentication is available and recommended — and required for anyone who sees money figures where the company requires it.
- Every user gets their own account; sharing one account between people corrupts the audit log, which is the most valuable thing in the system in a dispute.
3 · Your data is yours
- The data you enter belongs to your company, and is not used for anything but running the service for you.
- Reports export to CSV and Excel at any time, and purchase orders and certificates print.
- Your data is not sold and is not shared with advertisers.
4 · Acceptable use
- Do not upload malicious files; files are scanned before they are stored.
- Do not attempt to read another company's data; isolation is implemented and tested, and attempts are logged.
- Do not use the system to falsify a financial record. The audit log is hash-chained: editing or deleting a row in the database breaks the chain and shows.
5 · Availability and support
At this stage the service is provided “as is”, and no service level agreement (SLA) is declared. Support is in business hours. Planned downtime is announced in advance wherever possible.
6 · Backups
Encrypted backups are taken, and it is periodically tested that they restore — a backup that has never been restored is not a backup. That does not replace exporting what matters to you at major milestones.
7 · Limits of liability
The system is a calculation and presentation tool, not a financial or legal adviser. The figures it shows are computed from the data you enter, and the correctness of an input is the responsibility of whoever entered it. Contractual and financial decisions are yours, to be reviewed by you and whoever advises you.
8 · Termination
You may end the subscription at the end of its term. On termination you have a reasonable window to export your data before access closes. The post-termination policy — deletion versus anonymisation — is open and awaits a legal decision, because real deletion breaks the integrity of the linked financial records.
9 · Changes to these terms
Every change raises the version number at the top of this page. Anyone who consented to an earlier version shows in the consent register as having consented to that version, not the new one — with nothing erased.
